HBR began its publishing life in Turkey in October 2012 as its 11th local edition. It continues to publishing articles in areas such as leadership, innovation, globalization, strategy, and finance for eight years.
Project: The website be prepared for HBR Turkey was developed by designing a site content where article publications will be presented digitally, subscription processes will be realized, and the published issues of the magazine can be accessed. The work was conducted within this framework, taking the user experience as a priority on the website, which was prepared based on the brand’s corporate identity. An easy and understandable in-site layout was created with menu transitions, article placements, and directory flow.
Value Created: With the prepared software, HBR Turkey can provide its existing subscribers with the opportunity to easily make both digital and magazine subscriptions via this platform. Specifically, with the development of the digital world, users can create their memberships from anywhere via their phones or computers and easily review both current publications and all retrospective archive publications. In addition, there are different user systems with different screens for each officer, such as editor login, administrator login, admin login, and accounting panel logins in the background of the prepared software.
The software was written in PHP programming language and installed and delivered on its own servers of HBR. Within the software process, the scope of the project was determined first, and then, started working on this scope. As in every project, the needs were updated on the HBR Turkey portal site in the same way within the process, and we provided our support on these issues. The software eliminates a serious workload with the work it does in the background of the system. Providing the content on the websites with a user-friendly design has enabled the subscribers to spend more time on the website.
